My coaching career started in skiing where I coached and instructed at levels ranging from beginners to 13-15 year old FIS ranked athletes. This passion to teach was also a natural progression, as I got more involved in triathlon. I started with triathlon coaching with my old team in Calgary. I helped out in this way for 5 years, as I was racing internationally and going to University. In 2007, I went to study in Boulder Colorado and San Francisco at the International Cycling Institute to become a professional master bike fitter. Upon my graduation, I became Calgary’s top bike fitting expert and held the title as the only dynamic bike fitter (using video, motion capture) in western Canada. In 2008 I got my level 1 FaCT coaching and physiologic testing certification. From 2007-2011 I continued to deliver top-level bike fitting and built a business coaching triathletes. During this time I continued my education and achieved my level three or master level from FaCT and Competition Development Coach level while mentoring under Dr. Andrew Sellars of Vernon BC. As an athlete for most of her life the human body has always fascinated Victoria. Through her own experience with injuries she learned how amazingly the human body can heal itself if given the tools.

Victoria started her post-secondary education at McMaster University and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. From there she took classes in addiction related courses and graduated with an addictions education certificate in 2014. After learning about therapy from the psychological perspective she wanted to learn more about the physical aspect as well. At that point Victoria enrolled in massage therapy and after two years graduated with a massage therapy diploma from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy.

Entering the field of massage therapy allowed Victoria to learn more about the human body in the sense of its anatomy and physiology, while simultaneously providing the tools to aid in the restoration of health for others. The key to treatment for Victoria is finding the root of the dysfunctions and working along side clients to correct them through manual treatment, therapeutic exercises and education.

When not in a treatment room Victoria can be found participating in powerlifting, on the top of a mountain, in a yoga class or simply exploring the beautiful city of Kelowna. Victoria looks forward to meeting all of you and being an influential part of your healthcare team.
